Outfit | Roses Are Pink

I went downtown Phoenix about three weeks ago on a Monday hoping to beat the heat, but later realized that EVERYTHING ON THE MELROSE DISTRICT IS CLOSED ON MONDAYS. Don't ask me why, it's like they're replacing their Sunday with a Monday. Since it was pretty much deserted, i asked my mom to take pictures of me like a true selfie camera whore. I posted some of these pictures on my instagram and got a lot of questions about the shoes i was wearing; They're by an amazing company called Y.R.U. and can be found on a lot of online websites such as Dollskill, Karmaloop, Solestruck, Tiltedsole, Urban Outfitters and many others. Their shoes are pretty affordable compared to brands like JC, all mostly under $100. The specific shoes i have are called the y.r.u. leopard elevation sneakers, they run for about $50.

Breakfast in Heaven

For those of you who appreciate avocados, delicious sunday brunches, but can't cook shit in the kitchen, THIS IS THE POST FOR YOU!
I keep scrolling past a picture of baked eggs in avocados on tumblr and i drool every time, so i finally decided to give it a go with the help of my girlfriend. Surprisingly it's very easy and only takes a couple of minutes!
You're gonna want to start by buying pretty large avocados to fit as much of the egg as possible. After you preheat the oven to 450, cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scrape out the center with a spoon making it large enough to accommodate an egg. Break and egg into the center of the avocado, but don't worry about some of the white spilling, the important part is the yolk. At this point you can add whatever you want! Some lime, salt, or pepper.
Bake in the oven for about 12 minutes, or until the egg looks done. That is pretty much it!
Before i take the avocados out of the oven i like to put a few slices of jack cheese on top and leave it in for about a minute or two, or until its nice and melted over the egg. I highly recommend doing that if you love cheese like i do.  Here's an instagram picture of how mine turned out!
